Atascocita High School Cap and Gown Portrait Session: Kinlee

I am excited to share this Atascocita High School cap and gown portrait session at Atascocita High School! This year has been tough for the class of 2020 and I’m so glad we go to do something special for Kinlee! We got to meet for a sunset session at her high school campus.  Even though the school has moved online and construction is underway in the parking lot we had plenty of opportunities for great spots around the campus. I think this makes these photos all the more special, knowing they were taken on her campus from the past four years. We created some portraits for this graduating senior in my red graduation cap and gown- which all Atascocita seniors are welcome to use. We created some Atascocita High School cap and gown portraits in the lightly wooded area near Will Clayton Parkway, in front of the high school with the classic column facade and school name that everyone remembers, as well as created did a special photo at her senior parking spot-which was a loving team project between Kinlee and her father.

We got to meet up last semester for her senior portrait session and did photos throughout Old Humble. I’ll be sharing those shortly, so be on the lookout. Be sure to leave time during your senior session for cap and gown portraits in the late spring semester. You can dress up like Kinlee did, in coordinating colors with your alma mater or you could make it more casual and wear jeans and a matching t-shirt. I also love the trend of just wearing the hat and tassel ( and possibly sash) with a coordinating outfit. I’ve done this for high school and college seniors. Don’t miss this time to incorporate your personal style into this portrait session too. .They only take 45 minutes or so and are great to display at your graduation party – even if it is delayed into the summer because of an unexpected world health scare.
