What should we wear for our Houston family photos?

We’re happy to provide personalized style guidance when you book your session.
How long until we receive our photos?
Your images will be ready to choose from or “PROOF” within 2 weeks of your session. Then all purchased images are professionally edited and high-resolution, ready for printing and sharing. You’ll receive a private link to view, download, and share your photos with family and friends. Often times, it is much faster and the most lengthy portion is the proofing process if you choose to select your image order from a web proofing gallery. If you have a specific timeline, please ask and we will do our best to meet your needs.
Can we bring props or special items?
Absolutely! Personal touches like favorite toys, Grandma’s quilt, or other meaningful items can add character and personality to your photos. Family heirlooms, letter boards, or seasonal props are always welcome. Just let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.
Can I bring my pet?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your pet. Please let Stephanie know so she can prepare and because some locations may have a pet policy to follow.
What if the weather is bad for our outdoor session?
We monitor weather closely and will reach out if conditions look unfavorable. We can reschedule at no charge, or pivot to a studio session if you prefer to keep your original date. Your comfort and the quality of your photos are our top priorities. As a Houston Family Photographer, we are experts at watching the flip flop Houston weather. Reschedule timelines are included in your booking contract.
Do you offer prints or albums?
Yes! While all family sessions include digital images, we offer professional prints, canvas wraps, metal prints, and custom photo albums. These premium products are designed to last for generations. We can discuss print options during your complimentary in-studio reveal session, or you can order anytime after receiving your digital gallery.
What is your cancellation policy?
Life happens, and we understand! If you need to change your session date, please contact us as soon as possible and we’ll find a new time that works for your family. Specific guidelines for cancelling and rescheduling are included in your booking contract.
Do You Photograph Extended Families or Large Groups?
Absolutely! Your Houston Family Photographer loves photographing large multi-generational families. Our Extended Family Session is specifically designed for multi-generational families and large groups. With a full hour of shooting time, we have plenty of opportunity to capture the full group, individual family units, and special groupings like grandparents with grandchildren or all the cousins together.
