What is your photographic style? For portraits, we feel the focus of your images should be the smiling faces in your photo. For weddings, we like to capture your story. All the special details you have planned and the special people you have included in your day. This includes posed photos of people and things as well as images of the action as it unfolds throughout the day.
What is the gallery turn around time? For portraits galleries are dependent on current session volume and vary seasonally. It will be about 2 weeks.  For weddings, gallery turn around time is about 4-6 weeks. If you need something faster, please ask and we will do all we can to accommodate your request.

What is a session fee? A session fee is also known as a sitting fee or creative fee. It is the payment a client makes to cover the costs of photographing a session. Â It only covers the actual service and not the product. That means that sitting fees don’t include digital image files or print products of any kind.
What are your portrait photography packages ? Atascocita Photography fully digital or printed photo and digital packages for you to choose from. View the portrait packages here.
What are your commercial photography packages ? Atascocita Photography will quote your commercial photography package based on the project. Please reach out to get started with a custom quote.
Can I see your wedding photography packages?  Sure, you can view general wedding photography info here. You can select from one of our popular packages or we can build a custom package for you. Either works great for me. Contact us for more detailed information or with any questions.
Do you sell digital files? We do. We understand that you would like to have the digital files to archive for your family and to share on social media. We love for you to share your images online. Give us a shout out so your friends know who took them.
Do you sell prints, canvases, albums etc? Absolutely. Jpegs are wonderful to have, but holding your images in your hands and seeing them on the wall is better, trust me. Ask your friends, how many of them have images on a CD or thumb drive in a drawer somewhere?
Why should we hire you? Because you have viewed our images and love them. It is that simple. I want to document this time for your family or capture your fleeting wedding day. Because my desire to save these memories in a lasting way for future generations of your family is second to none.
How do you handle destination weddings? Â We will take care of everything for you. Â I like to arrive to the city 2 days before the wedding to assure that I will be there in case there are travel delays. At the time of booking we will let you know how much the travel fees are based on the estimated cost of flights, car rental (if necessary), and hotel. I handle all the bookings for travel so you do not have to worry about it. For destination weddings I strongly encourage you to select to have two photographers there. It is required for international weddings.
What is your back-up plan? In the unlikely event that we would be unable to shoot your wedding due to something tragic we have a network of wedding photographers we can call in an emergency.
What is the album process? When the gallery is uploaded you will have the opportunity to select your favorites images for the album. We recommend that album selections be made within 3 months of the wedding. I can also do an initial design for you to request edits from.
Who will be photographing our wedding? Stephanie will be there for every step of your wedding. From your photography planning consultation meeting to designing your album. You can always add a second photographer to any wedding package.
How do we book?  For Portraits: Send us an email or message through our contact page and we’ll be in touch to set your session up. Or book Online. For Weddings: To reserve your wedding date we require a non-refundable retainer of 50% of your package price & a signed contract. The balance may be paid  in two payments or all at once. It is due 30 days before your wedding.
If my package includes the high-resolution images, why should I buy prints from you? Â The creation of a print from your digital file is what brigs the image to life. It allows it to live with you every day in your home. This print will not go out of date or be an expired technology like a CD or some types of digital files. Photographic prints will be here for your great-grandkids. We use our years of printing experience to calibrate the color of your image and to ensure your image is printed with a quality process on the best substrate to make it shine.
How do we schedule a session with you? We schedule portrait sessions 7 days a week. Please use the contact form to send a message or book online.
What sort of equipment do you bring to a wedding? Your wedding day will only happen once and it is important that a professional photographer have reliable gear and always have a backup just in case something were to go wrong. We bring multiple Canon DSLR camera bodies and professional “L” series lenses.
