What a lovely session we had with Kingwood High School Senior Christa! The nature inspired senior portrait above, is one of my all time favorite senior images! I love the location, the colors, the pose… I could go on, but I’ll spare you. 🙂 For Christa’s session she wanted to keep things natural. She loves outdoor activities and wanted to bring nature into her session. Well… that is right up my alley because I love to use nature as a backdrop for portrait sessions. We started out in Kingwood in one of my “top secret” locations that is tucked away, that actually wasn’t far from Christa’s home and then headed over to Kings Harbor for the second half of her session, which is another one of my favorite spots, because of the variety of images we can take there as we walk around to each portrait location.
So, for Christa we met up on a Sunday afternoon at her home and we chatted while Valerie finished up her hair styling and airbrush makeup- creating the perfect neutral palette for Christa’s portraits. We surveyed the wardrobe options she had for her session and matched up each look with a different location. This is one of my favorite parts in planning the session- matching the fashion looks with each backdrop. We did this just before Christa’s session, but I’m always glad to come over to your house and help you plan this out in advance too.
