Spring Azalea photos in Atascocita are one of my favorite types of sessions. This is the very special time of year where one of Houston’s favorite flowers is in bloom. We only get this opportunity for a couple of weeks each year and the exact start time for the window varies. But eagle-eyed scouts have combed the area and have several great locations for your senior, family child, or Easter-themed sessions with the blooming pink flowers this year! How long will they last? You never can tell, but last year we had them for a week and then a powerful rainstorm caused all of the flower petals to fall from the plants ending this beautiful portrait opportunity.

What to wear for Spring Azalea Photos in Atascocita?

When you begin pulling your outfits for your portrait session with the gorgeous pink flowers- you have a few options:

 

1. White. This color has an especially light and airy feel which is great for a garden-inspired portrait session amongst pink flowers.
2. . You could wear denim or chambray. A light-colored outfit made up of light washed denim or a chambray dress would be a great compliment. This chambray dresses for the ladies and even a pair of jeans and a light blue or white top for the guys. This is one location where traditional wardrobe choices will be a perfect match.
3. Any garden party attire. Have you attended a wedding recently that was outdoor in a garden? Think about what you wore to that event and it will most likely be a great match here. Why not dress up a little and make your portraits a special event too!
4. Finally, I’ll sneak in a footwear tip, make sure your shoes are great walking in the grass! Barefoot, sandals, sneakers, or flats are a great fit. You’ll be walking in a grassy lawn some of the time so be aware of that when choosing heels or more delicate footwear. Happy wardrobe planning!
