I am excited to share this Atascocita High School cap and gown portrait session at Atascocita High School! This year has been tough for the class of 2020 and I’m so glad we go to do something special for Kinlee! We got to meet for a sunset session at her high school campus.  Even though the school has moved online and construction is underway in the parking lot we had plenty of opportunities for great spots around the campus. I think this makes these photos all the more special, knowing they were taken on her campus from the past four years.

Often I am asked as a senior photographer in Houston, “should I take cap and gown senior portraits?” The trend as of late is to have a fashion-focused portrait session and not to focus as much on your photos with your cap and gown. However, I’m always happy to incorporate some fun cap and gown portraits into your senior photography experience. It is a classic rite of passage type image that will be handed down for generations.

What do you get when you add three adorable siblings, a big metal washtub, milk, and some pumpkins? A FALL MILK BATH! The most adorable fall-themed milk bath session ever! I love the element of play in these images. Splashing, kicking and dunking the pumpkins is fun for all! These natural light portrait sessions last about 30 minutes. The washtub is great for 1 or two small children. They can play together or take turns having their portrait made! Each session includes the full experience, session, props and some digital images. Atascocita Newborn Photography is one of my favorite types of sessions. I recently had the honor of meeting a new family and photographing their newest addition! Ms. Leah was barely 2 weeks old when we photographed her newborn session. Her parents opted for a posed portrait session in-studio that was comprised of individual photos of the new baby, then the baby with the siblings, parents and the whole family at the end.
