Beautiful! What a wonderful bridal session we had for Chelsea at Oakland on Burnet Bay. The main house there is beautiful and we go lots of great shots in and around the venue. Then we went out to the back lawn that overlooks Burnet Bay. It really is a lovely location on the water. They hold the ceremonies her on the lawn and sometimes at the gazebo too. The sun was starting to set on the bay and made a beautifully reflected warm golden light.
Chelsea did a great job posing for a combination formal and fun shots at her Oakland on Burnet Bay bridal session. She also didn’t hesitate when I told her I brought a big striped pagoda umbrella as a prop! I actually love how it turned out in the photos. Adds a modern and feminine touch, which I love. Also take special note of Chelsea’s brooch bouquet. She’ll be the second bride it the family to use it and they plan to keep adding brooches and passing it down to other brides in the family. It is going to be a very special family heirloom.

Atascocita Newborn Photography is one of my favorite types of sessions. I recently had the honor of meeting a new family and photographing their newest addition! Ms. Leah was barely 2 weeks old when we photographed her newborn session. Her parents opted for a posed portrait session in-studio that was comprised of individual photos of the new baby, then the baby with the siblings, parents and the whole family at the end.
